Ink of Our Mothers

This is my independent research project over the course of my 2025 Fall Semester Capstone. It is an attempt at reclaiming and reviving indigenous tattoo traditions in the Middle East. The research does centre around Kurdish and Amazigh tattoo traditions but this practice is part of a much broader history in the region. Feel free to read it, reach out, correct me, or teach me more!
